I've been going to Jeremy at E's Auto Repair for seven years. He's the most competent, caring mechanic I've ever had--and I've had my share over the years. Jeremy always gets my repairs done right and in a timely fashion. He's as honest as they come and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.
I was visiting family in Montrose and had a leaky water pump on my Suburban. This place did an excellent job with the repair and squeezing me in right away to get it done.
Made an appointment to have my brake rotors shaved. Was quoted $484, compared to good year doing it for $182 . The place itself does not look like a legit mechanic shop: garage closed, and inside there were two old cars getting repaired and they had such a thick layer of dust on them that my gut feeling told me "don't get your car repaired here!" I gave him an extra star for benefit of the doubt.
