While getting studded snow tires, I was informed that I should think about fixing my rear brakes as they were down to about 30%. I called and made an appointment to get new front shocks and rear brakes. After the car had been on the lift a short time, Ken and another employee came to me and asked whom had told me that I needed new brakes? I replied that the people that had installed the tires told me that. Well, they told me that my brakes were fine at somewhere between 50-60%, and did not want to install them unless I insisted!

My tire blew out coming home to Denver and the friendly folks here helped me out. Walmart told me it would be two days to get tires and elk creek got me four brand new Nokians in 45 minutes. Only bad part is they aren't closer to Denver so I can't be a regular!
