P.S. As a comical aside to all of this I ended up repairing the vehicle myself. Took me about an hour. Granted, I'm a former Honda mechanic with over 20 years experience, but it wasn't too hard to figure out. Not sure what goes on at Flower Subaru, but I suspect overall that Subaru doesn't offer very good training to their techs.
Thought we'd found a good deal. Nope. Not only did they sell us a vehicle that had multiple hidden issues, but it appeared they did so knowingly. The vehicle had multiple sensor issues. First time we brought it back they re-set the computer. Yeah, that'll fix it....not. We brought it in again when all the lights came back on and they looked at it for two weeks or so and we got it back in the same condition. We gave up on taking it back to them. On top of an unfortunate purchase they posted 3 credit inquiries on my credit causing a significant dip in my credit score. I've never heard of anyone or even seen anyone do that! One is all I've ever seen, especially when your credit is as good as mine. Thanks Flower for a bad experience all around. Won't be back and won't recommend you to anyone.
Jesus appraised my Subaru Impreza for half of what Grand Junction Subaru did and at the same time insulted me about the condition of my car and told me that I need to take better care of my things if I want them to be worth anything later on. Needless to say I'm happy with my '17 Forester from Grand Junction Subaru and will continue to take it there for service. I recommend driving a little bit further to avoid the small town monopoly of car dealerships.
