This campground seems to be set up for self-contained RVs.
By far, the best RV park we stayed in on this trip and the others were pretty good too. The facilities are great, the toilets and showers are squeaky clean. The service is impeccable. Lots of attractions for kids: mini golf, ping-pong and even a stream.
Beautiful location with lots of mature shade trees. The free mini golf kept my kids entertained for hours. Staff was super friendly and helpful Would definitely stay here again.
Office folks are nice. Was lead to our site. FHU - good shade at our site. Water pressure is good. Some sites are close but we have all slides out. Gravel so a bit dusty. Convenient to downtown - dog park.
It's no fault of Cedar Creek, but the temp on the 9th of July was 97 in the shade. The cabin has an a/c unit, but it wasn't keeping up with the heat. I had to crank the temp down to 70 so it would keep cooling. Without it, the upper bunks were too hot.
This RV Park was EXCELLENT !!! Great Staff, Great Sites ( I think most all of the sites we saw were pull-through, level and most had mature trees all around for shade ). The water pressure and electric were great. The location, just East of town and just South of Main Street was perfect, with great places ( like coffee trader ) very close by. We met the former owner, who was wonderful, and the new owner, who was working hard every day we were there, on projects to make the place even better !!! Highly Recommended.
The only restrooms/showers are right next to the office at the front of the campground. I stayed in a sleeping cabin, and it was nice. However, I had to trek across the mini-golf course to get to the bathroom/shower.
I made the trek twice, and stopped by the office each time to ask questions, but no one was ever there.
The staff at Cedar Creek RV Park are friendly enough, and try to be as accommodating as possible.
