Disappointing that Montrose can't do better than this especially considering how well maintained the park next to it is. Prickly weeds, no water, no grass, no parking. The fence appears to be new and in good shape.
The directions take you to the school disrict buildings which are next to the dog park but there is no parking, instead go to the Sports Park and walk along the river to dog park.
It's like they had nothing better to do with this, so they just put a fence around it and called it a dog park. No grass, all of the amenities mentioned are either highly limited or broken. Looks like a great place for an Axe Murder. Come on Montrose you can do better!
Dirty, left over piece of bare land with a beat up fence.
Prior comments are about old dog park in Riverbottom park. New dog park is in Cerise park. Lots of dogs there who thought it was great. Grass, human and dog drinking fountain, tables, benches, several poop stations. Some areas left rough for exploring which my dog LOVES!! Good job Montrose, BIG improvement. Lots of parking, big and small dog areas, 2 entrances to big dogs park, all double gated.
