Best Mexican food on the western slope bar non! Everything is awesome! Service lacks a bit, but, oh sooooo worth it!
Great local family run place. The authentic Mexican food is made with love and deliciously unique flavors, I especially enjoy the perfectly seasoned fajita bowl with steak. Don't forget your fried ice cream for desert, heavenly! The guys here have always been pleasant and wearing a smile and show appreciation for their customers, and the talented cooks are happy to customize your meal however you like. Big city folks might not appreciate the hard work involved in running a family owned business, but us locals do. Great food, cozy den-like atmosphere indoors or sit at the outdoor tables in warmer weather. I'd vote this place as having the best authentic Mexican food on the western slope.

Good authentic food. That's it! Service is horrible. Margarita tasted like cough syrup. Chips were stale. Salsa was tasty. Waited 20 minutes to get seated, even though there were a lot of empty tables. Waitress was not very friendly. It took forever to get our food. We were at the restaurant for over an hour and a half. There are better places to eat Mexican food in Montrose.
Horrible service. Went for our first date night as a married couple, and waited over an hour to be served a drink. After two hours we had to ask for our food to be boxed so we could make a movie, and instantly the food was boxed on the table. The order was wrong completely. The service was so rude and my husband got sick a few hours after we finally were able to eat. It's a shame being local and losing a local restaurant because of this type of treatment. The manager was serving as well and made no attempt with us.
