My grandfather has PROSTATE CANCER and he called over 30 hours ago because there is a serious problem and needs his medication. He called back today and they said the doctor wasn't in today and there was nothing to be done. Their pharmacy closes tomorrow at noon, and he has no options for the weekend. He is suffering and in pain with all of this and the damn doctor's office doesn't even know how to take two minutes to check their voicemail, and they are using the excuse that they are one nurse short as to why they aren't answering the phone. Since when does the nurse answer the phone? Since when does the receptionist handle patients? The two should not be overlapping. When he had a catheter put in, it wasn't placed right and it caused him excruciating pain. If it weren't for the fact that the area he is in, which is a backwards area with little choice in doctors, I'd have him switch immediately. He is giving up on his own health because of this damn doctor's office. If you want to be ignored or for your loved one to be ignored, send them here. Just because he's 80, doesn't mean he deserves to be thrown in the garbage by you people. absolutely disgusting to ignore a patient for over 24 hours.
